Emma (C25-5229)

Emma is a beautiful, shy little cat who has so much potential. She was apart of a TNR colony in Collinsville. She has lived on the streets for some time, but was recently found with what appeared to be an eye injury. After further investigation she had an abscess on the top of her head, which was draining out her eye nose. It was at that time we realized how docile and sweet she was and decided she could not go back to the streets. With time, patience, and a calm environment, Emma has started to show signs that she’s ready for a life beyond survival—a life of comfort, warmth, and love. This sweet girl isn’t the type to run up for cuddles (at least not yet), but she watches everything from a safe distance, taking in the world with wide, thoughtful eyes. She enjoys gentle voices, slow movements, soft beds, and sunny windowsills. Emma is still learning to trust, and she’ll need a patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to move at her pace. But for the right person, she will be a deeply rewarding companion—the kind of cat who makes every small milestone feel like a huge victory. If you believe love is earned and not rushed, Emma might just be the cat your heart’s been waiting for.
